The spring is named Ajvatovica after Ajvaz-dedo's name who came in today Prusac, place in Donji Vakuf, with an army of Sultan Mehmed Fatih, who led forty sheikhs when he went to Bosnia, and when he took over Bosni, he left them in various places.
Tradition says that Ajvaz-Dedo, under the mountain Šuljaga, 6 km away from Prusac in the woods, found a powerful spring. In the vicinity of the source rock is 74m long and 30m high. The rock is an obstacle for aqueduct that Ajvaz grandfather wanted to take down to the village and decided to pray to the Almighty to breake the rock in order to carry out plumbing. Evenry mornign for 40 days he went on the rock doing morning prayer and prayign for it. Fortith morning, reading Quran after prayers, he fell asleep and dreamed two rams colliding and rock came apart. When he woke up, he saw that his prayers wasreceived and rocks separated and the cleft in the gorge directed towards the qibla (the Kaaba in Mecca).
Gap in this rock is 4 meters and through it, Ajvaz-dedo put wooden pipes (tomruci) placing them on the surface of the earth, and that is the only difference between this and modern plumbing. It is not known how the plumbing was in good condition after the Ajvaz-dedo's death, but it is known that the first plumbing fixtures made Shaykh Hasan Kafi Pruščak. Then it was rebuilt by Bosnian governor Miralem Pasha in early 1785th. In Prusac, modern plumbing was built in 1931.
